The disciples were asked to wait for the promise.....
But they were in a hurry to find someone in Judas's place....
They were working out with their own ideas and plans instead of waiting on him....
The decision they made wasn't led by the spirit of God.....
Wait when you are asked to wait....
Work when the spirit takes control of you and leads.....
That was the last time the disciples made a decision based on their experience....
Are you working out with your wisdom or waiting for the guidance of the Holy spirit?
You might make decisions after praying but are they led by the spirit of God?
Acts 1:24
And they prayed and said, "You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen
WHEN GOD ASKS YOU TO WAIT - WAIT ON THE LORD IN PRAYER! BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD BEFORE MAKING DECISIONS!! LET GOD TAKE OVER YOUR LIFE'S DECISIONS!!!
